Where the hell did June go?
Cover updates, another finalist recognition, and deadlines closing in.
I swear there was less days in June than February. I blinked and it’s (as of this drafting) June 29th! I mean, the Fourth of July is right around the dang corner!
Okay, before I go further I wanted to share the cover updates via KDP. Ebooks for Jason’s Princess and Jarod’s Heart are up now, and Josh’s Challenge will be available in a couple of weeks. Doing some fine tuning before uploading. I’ve also got the paperback cover mocked up for Jason’s Princess. Information on giveaways will follow. For now, here’s the covers:
Once Josh’s Challenge is ready to go on KDP I’ll send an update followed by the next cover for book four in the Trouble In Timbisha Township series. The working title for now is Marguerite’s Redemption—I know this title keeps changing but I’m pretty sure I’m sticking with this one. If you’ve read Jason, Jarod, and Josh, you already know Marguerite has a reputation to fix—she says with a wink. If you know, you know.
I received word from the National Indie Excellence Awards (NIEA) stating they’ve chosen Unwanted: Finding Where You’re Loved as a finalist in their 18th Annual Awards contest. This is the second finalist award I’ve received for this book. While I’m beginning to feel a little bit like the old saying, “always a bridesmaid, never a bride,” I’m still humbled and thankful for those judges accepting the book and loving it enough to give it finalist status among the many, many stories entered into their contests. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
DEADLINES: Yeah, they’re closing in. I had goals, darn it! Goals I will achieve! With that being said, I do not have a specific date Marguerite’s Redemption will be publish, but I do know it will definitely be before Thanksgiving Weekend 2024. Why? Because I need to have her ready for the Winter Arts and Gifts Show I’ll be attending in Reno, Nevada that weekend. Which means all four titles in the series, plus Unwanted, will be available for you to get your dirty little hands on. And, I sure would love to see you at the show, that is if you’ll be in the Reno area for the holiday. I’ll have more information as time gets closer.
Okay, for now I’m going to let you go (man, I miss you already!) but I’ll keep in touch as more shenanigans unfold for this newly independent author.
Until next time,
Elise
